Giclee Prints:
Giclee (pronounced zhee-clay), a French term meaning "spray of ink"
A giclee print is a state of the art, high resolution, high-fidelity reproduction done on a special large format printer.  The image was generated from a high resolution digial scan of my original watercolor painting, done with  specilaized scanning equipment. After an extensive proofing process between artist and printer to insure color accuracy, the image is printed with 200 year archival inks onto archival quality watercolor paper.  The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than any other means of reproduction, and the use of the giclee process indicates to the buyer that the process and materials used to create the print were intended for the fine art market.  Giclee prints produce a faithful reproduction with the look and feel of the original painting.
