Pond’s Edge

Have you ever lingered at the edge of a pond? If you have the opportunity to do so, look closely because there is a lot to see! Notice the complexity of the patterns of the water as it ripples gently around the rocks and grasses. Take note of how those patterns of light and shadow are cast on the visible rocks and other things below the surface, as well as some areas that reflect the sky. I hope this painting will evoke feelings of peace such as you might experience at the edge of a pond. Double matted and framed to 11x14. Available at Gay Street Gallery in Washington, VA beginning March 21.
