Pictured Rocks Cliffs Earrings
The Pictured Rocks Cliffs rise dramatically up to 200 feet above the blue green waters of Lake Superior. Layers of sandstone provide the background for streaks of colors caused by minerals leaching out between rock layers. Black is caused by manganese, calcite makes white, and the reds, browns and oranges are from iron oxide. Copper creates occasional streaks of turquoise. The beads are jaspers, agates, turquoise, riverstone, quartzite, onyx, blackstone, howlite with sterling and copper accents. Due to the natural variation in the stones as well as availability, each will be unique, though similar to the one shown. Price includes shipping.
