Joshua Tree National Park is a rock lovers paradise! The shapes are a fascinating display of the erosional powers of wind and water. I love the way rocks precariously balance on other rocks, and the rocks with hollowed out areas. This painting is done on Shizen watercolor paper, a very rough texture handmade paper.
