"Trillium on Stony Man Trail, Shenandoah National Park
Hiking in the mountains on a misty spring day can bring many delights. Because the mist and fog obscures the distant views, we are more aware of what is more closely around us. This lovely pink trillium was such a delicate and beautiful pink among the sprouting may apples, and a sweet contrast to the otherwise muted colors of the misty forest. Matted and framed to 14 x 18, and will be available at Middle Street Gallery in Washington, VA from February 14 - March 22.
