Spring Wildflower Mandala
Early spring brings us the joyful bloom of the spring ephemerals. An important early food for pollinators, these short-lived plants bloom early to take advantage of the spring moisture and sunlight before the trees leaf out. They have to grow, bloom, and set seeds quickly before dying back. I have included trout lily, hepatica, spring beauties and ferns in this mandala that celebrates the season! Image is 6x6 double matted and framed to 10x10. Available at Middle Street Gallery beginning May 22.
