Guardian of the Stream, Shenandoah National Park
A giant tree watches over a gentle mountain stream in Shenandoah National Park. It caught my eye on a recent hike, and I found the nooks formed by its roots to be enchanting. The small cascades and ripples, rock strewn banks and deep forest beyond created a lovely landscape. I hope it brings you the same peace I felt watching it and painting it! the image is 8x12, double matted and framed to 14x18. Available at Middle Street Gallery in Washington, VA during my solo show May 22 - June 28.
