Shelf Fungus I
The lively rhythm of movement in the shapes of these shelf fungus caught my attention hiking in the forest one winter day. I loved the organic shapes of the fungus and the way they grew out of the cracks in the tree bark. One of my intimate landscapes, this piece was selected for the 2014 Virginia Piedmont Show.
