Kettle Canyon, Shenandoah National Park
The dramatic ridge lines and shadows of Kettle Canyon often catch my eye. Stonyman Mountain with its beautiful rock outcrops is just to the left of the canyon. This painting captures the time snapshot in autumn when the fall colors have left the mountain tops, but are still vibrant on the lower ridges and slopes.
