Tulips
We did a Bike and Barge trip to the Netherlands this spring timed to see the peak of tulip blooms. We spent several hours touring the Keukenhof Gardens, I never knew there were so many beautiful varieties of tulips! I have several more paintings I will be doing from the collection of photos I took that day, this is the first! Not only were the tulip blooms lovely, but also all the different greens in the leaves and stems as the sunlight filtered through them. The image is 5x7, and it is framed to 10x12.
