Walnut Tree I
We have several gorgeous walnut trees on our property, and I have taken many photographs of them in all seasons to paint from. The bare trees of winter are my favorites, because the intricate structures of the trees are so much more visible than the rest of the year when they are lush with leaves. This is the first of a series, with the beautiful complexity of the tree silhouetted against the subtle colors of a winter sky. The image is 4x10 double matted and framed to 9x15. SOLD
