'Twas a Cold Winter's Night
Imagine a crisp cold night in winter with the wind howling and the clouds scuttling across the moonlit sky. A few stars peek out between the clouds and the sky is a magical deep indigo blue/black. Imagine this same scene but because of light pollution the stars aren’t visible, the clouds are barely discernable and the sky is a glow of gray and dull yellow reflected light. I know which sky I prefer, how about you? Learn more about the importance of dark skies and how you can help at www.darksky.org. The image is 6x12, framed to 11x17.
